Built Environment Services - Enviromental Quality Joint Base Lewis McCord,
Tacoma WA for the USACE Seattle District
Provided environmental quality services to support military operations at JBLM expanding 78 Active, Guard and Reserve units, 40 BOS contractors, and 25 military support organizations located in 90,837 acres. Work included all media air, waste water, lab operations, pretreatment, stormwater, cultural resources, archeological resources, NEPA, environmental outreach, EPCRA, RCRA, hazardous waste program, solid waste management, tanks, toxic substances, asbestos, lead paint, environmental restoration/cleanup program support and environmental compliance services.

Recent developments upstream of the drainage area created significant challenges at the Deployable Medical Systems Equipment Training (DMSET) site on Camp Bullis, TX. Inadequate stormwater management has resulted in serious drainage issues, restricting access to the training site. This project focused on analyzing, designing, procuring, and constructing a better drainage system along with essential erosion control measures. These improvements are crucial to ensure that the DMSET's operational training mission can continue without interruption during rainy conditions.

PFAS Emerging Contaminants -
PFAS Technical Services for Air Force Civil Engineer Center, USACE Regional Planning and Environmental Center, Ft Worth TX
Annual PFOS/PFOA Relative Risk Site Evaluation (RRSE) support to approximately 80 AF installations in the investigation/remediation phases and approximately 75 ANG installations for evaluation and prioritization of PFOS/PFOA sites, including coordination of environmental data gathering, EDMS, production of data outputs, and process automation.
